I often work with individuals with ADHD, autism, OCD, or high sensitivity, and I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space that meets you where you’re at.My approach integrates evidence based practices like CBT and Brainspotting, tailored to each person’s needs, pace, and nervous system.
Welcome! I’m Rhonda Palmer, LCSW, a human first and a therapist who values spaces that feel safe, genuine, and real. With over 17 years in social work, I meet clients where they are as they explore anxiety, relationship patterns, self-esteem, and experiences related to neurodivergence, including autism, ADHD, and high sensitivity.I’m licensed in Missouri, Texas, and Arizona, and certified as both a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and an Autism Spectrum Clinical Specialist. If you’ve ever felt like you had to hide parts of yourself to be accepted, this is your space to drop the mask. I don’t believe in “fixing” who you are. Instead, I believe in helping you understand yourself, work passed old wounds, and to support you in working towards building a life for yourself that honors your strengths.I work best with people who are ready to be real, even if “real” means messy, unsure, or figuring it out one step at a time. You don’t need to impress me or get everything “right.” However, you do need to show up with honesty, responsibility, curiosity, and a willingness to grow because that’s how real change happens.During our sessions, we’ll work together in a way that feels collaborative, respectful, and grounded. I’ll bring compassion and care, but I’ll also hold boundaries so our space stays safe and balanced. I don’t work well with people looking to control others, avoid responsibility, or seek validation without reflection.During our sessions, I’ll utilize therapeutic modalities such as CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution Focused Therapy, and Brainspotting. Mostly, I’ll bring empathy, humor, and the belief that you already have the wisdom inside of you, I’m just here to help you uncover it.“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” - Albert Einstein“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” - Nelson MandelaIf you’re ready for this kind of work, I welcome you.

Every therapy journey is unique. I work to create a space that is respectful, supportive, and attentive to each person’s individual needs.Sharing feedback is entirely voluntary and may be shared at anytime, though it is typically shared at the end of therapy.Feedback will never affect care, reflects a client's personal perspective, and may provide information to others exploring support. Feedback does not guarantee outcomes.
“I lost my dad in July 2020. I struggled with grieving and supporting my mom. I started therapy with Rhonda in January. She helped me so much and still continues to. I try to visit once a month but life happens. She is very easy to talk to!”— L.N.
